Dale Play partners with Live Nation and River Plate to boost Argentine urban music export
Dale Play, the Argentine urban‑music production company founded in 2018, has become the main engine driving the genre’s international expansion. Its CEO Federico Lauría explained that digital platforms such as Spotify and YouTube let local artists reach global audiences with a single click, turning a sector that now accounts for about 1.7% of Argentina’s GDP – roughly US$600 million in annual service exports – into a significant cultural export.
The company recently sold a large stake to Live Nation, the world’s largest entertainment group, a deal that will deepen its global reach. In addition, Dale Play secured an exclusive ten‑year agreement with Club Atlético River Plate to stage concerts at the Monumental stadium, the premier live‑event venue in Latin America. Lauría highlighted these partnerships as part of a broader strategy to invest in local infrastructure and promote Argentine talent on the world stage, citing Duki’s historic performance at the Santiago Bernabéu as a landmark example of the model’s success.
