Dalian Dawody wins ONE Championship match but suffers hand fracture

Swedish fighter Dalian Dawody secured a dominant TKO victory against Lamin Souayah at ONE Friday Fights 167 in Bangkok. Dawody finished the match just two minutes into the first round after scoring three knockdowns.

Despite the victory, Dawody sustained a fracture in his left hand during the bout. He is currently in a cast and may require surgery in Sweden. The injury is expected to keep him out of competition for several months and may prevent him from participating in the European Muay Thai Championships in Paris this October.

Following his win, Dawody expressed interest in facing top Thai fighter Sinsamut Klinmee, provided a contract can be secured.
