Dalkurd FF files for bankruptcy

Dalkurd FF has filed for bankruptcy at the Uppsala District Court following a period of inactivity. The club, which was originally founded in Borlänge in 2004, moved to Uppsala in 2018 and has struggled to maintain its operations since then.

Efforts were recently underway to revive the club, including discussions about moving the team back to Dalarna or potentially to Värmland. Josef Erdem, one of the club's founders and current chairman, noted that while there is significant interest in returning the club to Borlänge, the bankruptcy filing has temporarily halted all progress. A bankruptcy trustee will now investigate the club's debts and assets. Currently, the club has no ongoing operations or employees.
