Dallas Cowboys eye cornerback Adoree Jackson following Von Miller signing

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly exploring the signing of free agent cornerback Adoree Jackson to bolster their secondary. Jackson previously played under the Cowboys' new defensive coordinator, Christian Parker, during his time with the Philadelphia Eagles.

This potential move follows the Cowboys' recent signing of veteran edge-rusher Von Miller. The team is looking to address defensive deficiencies after ranking last in the NFL in both pass yards allowed and points allowed last season. While Jackson would likely serve as a depth addition, he brings experience from nine NFL seasons, including 55 tackles and one interception during his last campaign with Philadelphia.

Jackson would join a revamped defensive unit that includes offseason acquisitions such as Cobie Durant, Derion Kendrick, and safety Jalen Johnson, alongside rookie Caleb Downs.
