Dallas Cowboys face wide receiver roster decisions

The Dallas Cowboys face a critical roster decision regarding their wide receiver depth following the preseason. Undrafted free agent Camden Brown, signed out of Georgia Southern, has emerged as a strong candidate to join the 53-man roster. Brown has recorded eight catches, 166 yards, and two touchdowns over three preseason games.

However, the team may face a choice between Brown and Jonathan Mingo. Mingo, who was acquired via a fourth-round pick, was rested during the final preseason game against the Saints, a move often indicating a player's roster spot is secure. While the Cowboys could potentially carry six receivers, depth issues in other areas of the roster may force them to limit the position to five, creating a direct competition between the veteran Mingo and the rising Brown.
