Dallas Cowboys start training camp in California
The Dallas Cowboys arrived in Oxnard, California, on Monday to begin their 2024 training camp. Head coach Jerry Jones kept a low profile during the offseason, but the camp promises intense competition for several roster spots.
On the offensive line, starting left tackle Tyler Guyton faces challenges from third‑year backup Nate Thomas and rookie Drew Shelton, who hope to earn the starting job after Guyton’s injury‑limited 2023 season. At wide receiver, Jonathan Mingo must prove himself among a deep group that already includes CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin.
The outcomes of these battles will shape the Cowboys’ lineup for the upcoming NFL season and could influence each player’s future with the organization.
