Dallas-Fort Worth ranked top U.S. real estate market for 2027
The Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area has been ranked as the top U.S. real estate market for investment prospects for 2027, according to the 48th annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate report by PwC and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). This marks the third consecutive year the region has held the top position.
While the market shows strong investment potential, the report warns that developers and investors face increasing difficulties in execution due to factors such as borrowing costs, public policy, and submarket variations. Other notable markets identified in the outlook include Nashville, Miami, Raleigh-Durham, and San Francisco.
In response to shifting market conditions, some local real estate professionals are adjusting their business models. Justin Nimergood of the Top Gun Team at Epique Realty indicated that while a slower market is expected over the next 12 to 24 months, his strategy involves expanding team resources and utilizing digital tools, such as AI-based home valuation and enhanced social media presence, to maintain client connections.
