Dallas Mavericks secure Naji Marshall extension, begin Max Christie talks

The Dallas Mavericks are undergoing organizational changes under a new front office and coaching staff. As part of these efforts, the team has secured a contract extension for Naji Marshall. Marshall signed a three-year extension worth approximately $52 million, which is set to begin after the upcoming season and run through the 2029-2030 season.

Additionally, the Mavericks have entered contract negotiations with guard Max Christie. Christie, who was acquired in a trade involving Luka Doncic, recently completed a season averaging 12.3 points per game with significant three-point shooting accuracy. While Christie has two seasons remaining on his current contract, including an $8.9 million player option, he confirmed during media day that dialogue regarding a new deal has commenced.
