Dallas Regional Chamber launches Work-Based Learning Toolkit
The Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) has launched a new Work-Based Learning (WBL) Toolkit to assist employers in strengthening talent pipelines and addressing workforce gaps. The initiative aims to connect students with real-world experience while providing employers with a direct pipeline to emerging talent.
This effort comes as the Dallas region experiences economic growth and increased demand for skilled workers. The DRC notes that despite significant educational investments, Texas faces a middle-skills gap of approximately 1.4 million workers. The toolkit is designed to help close these readiness gaps through career-connected learning opportunities.
