Dallas Stars defeat Colorado Avalanche in shootout

In regulation time, Miro Heiskanen and Arturi Hury scored for the Stars, while Gabriel Landeskog scored for Colorado. Dallas goaltender Casey DeSmith recorded 25 saves to help secure the win. The victory allows Dallas to snap a two-game losing streak.

Colorado's Gabriel Landeskog and Brock Nelson scored during regulation, with Nazem Kadri contributing two assists and a goal in the shootout. Avalanche coach Jared Bednar noted that while the team played well in the first and third periods, discipline issues in the second period proved costly.
