Dallas/Fort Worth identified as most stressful US airport

A new analysis by Rightway Parking has identified Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) as the most stressful airport in the United States. The study evaluated 55 of the country's busiest terminals, factoring in delays, cancellations, wait times, and travel distance from city centers.

According to 2025 data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, nearly 28% of flights at DFW experienced delays, while 2.76% were canceled. The report noted that delays at the airport have increased by 33.67% since 2021. On October 1, DFW reported 390 delayed flights and 155 cancellations, the highest figures among U.S. airports for that day.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport ranked second, with a 24.68% delay rate and a 42.77% increase in delays since 2021. Washington’s Ronald Reagan National Airport took third place, recording a 3.86% cancellation rate and a 73.92% increase in delays since 2021.
