Dallas‑Fort Worth launches 30th annual Restaurant Week and hosts major startup events

More than 150 restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton and Rockwall counties are participating in the 30th DFW Restaurant Week, which runs from Aug 10 to Sept 7 with a preview weekend Aug 6‑9. Fixed‑price menus range from $29 to $99, and 20% of each purchase is donated to the North Texas Food Bank or Lena Pope, a local mental‑health and early‑learning nonprofit. Last year the program raised over $680,000 for these charities.

The DFW region is also featuring a packed calendar of innovation‑focused events in August, including the DEC Network’s DFW Startup Week, Capital One‑sponsored sessions for entrepreneurs, a TechFW “Startup Bites” lunch with Tyler Fisher, a Nucleate Global Summit on biotech, and a governance workshop on quantum‑computing security hosted by Tech Titans. These gatherings aim to boost entrepreneurship, biotech, and technology development across North Texas.
