Dalmatian Wine Icons and Sparkling Wine Fest to be held in Croatia

Two major wine events are scheduled to take place in Croatia. The fourth edition of Dalmatian Wine Icons will be held on October 29, 2026, at the Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb. Organized by the Vino Dalmacije Association, the event will feature 40 selected wineries from across the Dalmatia region, showcasing up to three labels each, including archival vintages and limited editions. The event follows a successful season for Dalmatian wines, which have recently earned over 100 gold medals, particularly for indigenous varieties such as Plavac Mali, Pošip, and Grk.

Additionally, the Sparkling Wine Fest will take place on November 6 and 7 in Jastrebarsko. This festival will feature tastings of over 80 sparkling wines, including domestic producers like Tomac and Meneghetti, as well as international houses such as Lanson and Alfred Gratien. The event includes a Bubbly Bar, where 50 percent of proceeds will be donated to humanitarian causes. The festival will also host masterclasses led by international and domestic sommeliers and feature culinary offerings from various renowned chefs.
