Daloa: Military officer found dead in apartment

A military officer, identified by the initials D. D., was found dead in an apartment in the Lobia district of Daloa, Côte d’Ivoire. The victim, who was stationed in San-Pédro, was discovered lying in a pool of blood with multiple injuries to his chest and neck.

Investigators noted signs of a violent struggle in both the bedroom and living area. According to the victim's partner, four individuals entered the residence around 4:00 a.m. on September 17, 2026. She identified one of the intruders as her former partner, F. M., also known as ‘Abou.’

The Brigade de recherche et d’intervention (BRI) of Daloa apprehended the primary suspect, F. M., in the Zaguiguia district a few hours after the investigation began.
