Damascus International Fair to host 63rd edition in 2026

The 63rd edition of the Damascus International Fair is scheduled to take place from August 26 to September 4, 2026. The event serves as a major economic platform, bringing together local, Arab, regional, and international companies and investors to foster cooperation and exchange expertise.

Salah Aziziya, events manager at Glovent, noted that the fair acts as an umbrella for various specialized exhibitions held throughout the year at the New Exhibition City. This integration allows participants to discover new companies and explore potential collaborations.

Ghiath Al-Shammaa, CEO of Delta Group for International Exhibitions and Conferences, highlighted the fair's 60-year history and its role in promoting Syrian products and supporting exports. He emphasized that the fair's recent relaunch supports the reconstruction of Syria and its position as a regional hub for the events industry.

The event will also feature a significant presence from the traditional industries sector. Approximately 140 artisans from various Syrian governorates and 35 associations will participate in a 2,000-square-meter pavilion, showcasing crafts such as mosaic, Damascus steel, mother-of-pearl, and leatherwork.
