Dame Sarah Storey joins Strictly Come Dancing 2026 lineup

The BBC has announced several details regarding the upcoming 2026 season of Strictly Come Dancing. Dame Sarah Storey, the most successful British Paralympic athlete with 19 gold medals, has been confirmed as the seventh celebrity contestant. Additionally, presenter Will Best has joined the lineup.

The program is returning to BBC One and iPlayer in September with a new presenting team consisting of Emma Willis, professional dancer Johannes Radebe, and comedian Josh Widdicombe. While the judging panel remains unchanged with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, and Shirley Ballas, there has been a reorganization of the professional dancers, with several fan favorites departing the series.
