Damian Lillard returns to Portland following Achilles injury

Damian Lillard has returned to the Portland Trail Blazers following a significant Achilles tendon injury. After a period with the Milwaukee Bucks, the 36-year-old veteran has returned to the franchise where he established his career.

During his rehabilitation, Lillard completed a personal challenge of making 100,000 shots. In his recent return to the court, he recorded 15 points, two steals, and three three-pointers, shooting 5-of-11 from the field.

Lillard expressed confidence in his recovery, stating, “I don’t expect to be different from who I have always been.” He noted feeling explosive on both ends of the floor and emphasized his goal to return to his previous form while helping the team reach the playoffs.
