Damian Piwowarczyk secures UFC contract after knockout victory

Polish fighter Damian Piwowarczyk, known as ‘Damsyn’, has secured a contract with the UFC following a standout performance on Dana White’s Contender Series in Las Vegas. Piwowarczyk earned the deal by securing a first-round technical knockout victory over the previously undefeated Emilio Quissua.

Despite a difficult start to the fight where Quissua applied pressure and utilized superior footwork, Piwowarczyk overcame the early challenges with his striking power. Following the victory, Piwowarczyk noted that he suffered a foot injury during the bout and must undergo medical examinations before his debut. He expressed a desire to compete in Europe, specifically mentioning London or Paris, and aims to return to the octagon within three to four months.

Piwowarczyk also commented on the pre-fight tension, describing his opponent's attitude as arrogant. He expressed immense satisfaction with achieving his professional goal of joining the world's premier MMA organization.
