Damian Piwowarczyk to fight for UFC contract in Contender Series

Polish MMA fighter Damian Piwowarczyk, known as ‘Damsyn’, is set to compete in Dana White’s Contender Series on September 22 in Las Vegas. The bout against undefeated fighter Emilio Quissua carries the potential for a UFC contract.

Piwowarczyk, a former KSW light heavyweight title contender, explained that his decision to pursue the Contender Series came after a successful three-fight winning streak and the conclusion of his contract with KSW. He noted that while he was offered a title fight in KSW, he felt the timing was right to attempt a move to the global organization.

In addition to physical training, Piwowarczyk is focusing on improving his English skills to better present himself to the international organization and maximize his professional reach. He emphasized that a victory must be impressive to secure a contract, as the selection process is discretionary and favors impactful performances.
