Damian Priest attacks R-Truth following tag team split

Damian Priest has intensified his feud with former tag team partner R-Truth following their unsuccessful attempt to win the AAA World Tag Team Championship. Priest recently launched a physical assault on Truth at the WWE Performance Center, which was captured on video. During the attack in the trainer’s room, Priest choked Truth with a chair and stated that their friendship was over, claiming that Truth had held him back from achieving championship success.

Following the physical confrontation, R-Truth responded to Priest’s birthday on September 26 via an Instagram post. Truth shared a photo of the two together but used an eggplant emoji to cover Priest’s face, a move interpreted as a comedic and provocative jab at his former partner.
