Former WWE World Champion Damian Priest appeared for the first time on AAA on Fox, introduced by AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio. In a Spanish promo, Priest said he joined AAA to dominate the promotion and pursue championships, while still holding the WWE Tag Team title with R‑Truth on SmackDown.

The July 4 episode also featured Lady Shani defeating Flammer, a trios match won by La Parka & Mr. Iguana, and a No‑Contest ending when Los Perros del Mal attacked El Fiscal. Rey Mysterio hinted at a future Bad Bunny appearance on the show.
