Damien Chazelle celebrates ‘La La Land’ at Teatro La Fenice

Director Damien Chazelle returned to Venice to celebrate a special presentation of ‘La La Land’ at the Teatro La Fenice. Ten years after the film’s world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, the production was showcased with a live musical accompaniment.

Composer Justin Hurwitz conducted the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta and a choir, performing the film’s score live alongside a full screening of the movie. Chazelle praised the venue and the orchestra, describing the experience as “extraordinary” and the theater as “special, beautiful, and unique.”
