Damien Duff Joins Brentford as Assistant Coach

Former Republic of Ireland international Damien Duff has been appointed assistant coach at Premier League club Brentford, working under manager Keith Andrews. Duff, who left his previous role at Shelbourne, began his new job during the club's pre‑season training camp in Portugal, where Andrews praised his seamless integration and long‑standing relationship with the former teammate.

The hiring adds to Brentford's growing Irish contingent, which already includes Ireland captain Nathan Collins and goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher. Brentford finished ninth in the Premier League last season and aim to build on that performance, opening the new campaign at home against Tottenham Hotspur on 22 August.
