Damietta Governor Launches Service and Cleanliness Initiatives in Kafr Saad

Governor Dr. Hossam El‑Din Fawzi chaired an executive council meeting in Damietta, reviewing recent municipal efforts across sectors. He thanked the civil protection staff for handling a fire at an industrial plant and highlighted projects such as the presidential "Decent Life" initiative in Kafr Saad, the "Governor Comes to You" and "Step to a Better Village" programs, progress on green smart projects, investment plans, and actions against building violations and illegal encroachments. The meeting also approved land for a new official language school in Kafr Gh‑ab.

The following night, Governor Fawzi led a surprise inspection of Kafr Saad’s main streets, accompanied by the deputy governor and local officials. The tour assessed the quality of services, the effectiveness of the sanitation and beautification system, and the enforcement of traffic and public order regulations. He urged rapid removal of obstacles, stricter law enforcement, increased cleaning shifts, and pledged to continue such unannounced inspections to ensure service standards for residents.
