Damián Castaño receives ovations at Las Ventas

Damián Castaño received a significant ovation at Las Ventas during a livestock challenge featuring bulls from Partido de Resina and Veiga Teixeira. Castaño performed a meritorious and emotional labor with the second bull from Veiga Teixeira, which moved with transmission despite being docile in the early stages. His performance with the fifth bull from Partido de Resina also drew a strong response from the crowd, though he was not awarded a trophy due to inaccuracies with the sword.

The event was marked by criticism regarding the quality of the bulls, which were described as docile and lacking class. Mexican bullfighter Fermín Rivera, marking 20 years since his alternative, and Gómez del Pilar also participated in the afternoon. The attendance was reported at 7,582 spectators.
