Dan Bewley named third wild card for 2027 Speedway Grand Prix

Dan Bewley has been awarded the third wild card for the 2027 Speedway Grand Prix season. He joins Maciej Janowski and Jack Holder as the permanent wild card participants for the upcoming cycle.

Bewley’s inclusion follows a challenging period marked by a severe injury in May 2026, which included a broken femur and a compression fracture of a vertebra. Despite the injury, the British rider returned to competition late in the season, contributing to Sparta Wrocław’s silver medal in the PGE Ekstraliga and securing a fifth-place finish in the Toruń Grand Prix.

The 2027 Grand Prix season is scheduled to consist of 11 rounds, beginning in Croatia on May 1 and concluding in Australia on October 29 and 30.
