Dan Bewley returns to speedway in Poland but remains sidelined in UK

British speedway rider Dan Bewley has made a successful return to competition in the PGE Ekstraliga semi-finals with Betard Sparta Wrocław. After a three-month absence due to injury, Bewley scored 10 points including two bonuses, a performance praised by coach Piotr Protasiewicz.

Despite his strong performance in Poland, Bewley will not return to racing for the Belle Vue Aces during the British league play-offs. Due to league regulations regarding transfer windows and roster changes after 75% of the regular season has been completed, he is ineligible to rejoin the squad. Jason Doyle has taken over the position for Belle Vue, and Bewley has indicated he expects to be fully ready for the 2027 season.
