Dan Gore nearing loan move from Manchester United to Luton Town

Manchester United midfielder Dan Gore is in advanced talks to join Luton Town on loan. The 21-year-old is expected to move to Kenilworth Road as Luton pursues promotion from League One under manager Jack Wilshere.

Gore arrives following a successful loan spell at Rotherham United during the 2025-26 campaign, where he made 41 appearances and was voted the club’s Player of the Season. While Sheffield United had previously shown interest, Manchester United reportedly believes Luton provides the best platform for his continued development.

The midfielder’s career has been impacted by various injury setbacks, including a shoulder injury and foot issues, during previous stints at Port Vale and Rotherham. A successful, injury-free season at Luton could strengthen his prospects for a place in the Manchester United first team.
