Dan Mosley named Kentucky Association of Counties deputy executive director

The Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) has announced that Dan Mosley will serve as the organization’s next deputy executive director. Mosley is scheduled to assume the position in January following the conclusion of his term as the Harlan County judge/executive.

Mosley, a three-term judge/executive and former KACo president, brings 16 years of experience in county government. His previous roles include serving as the E-911 and special programs coordinator for the Harlan County Fiscal Court. KACo Executive Director and CEO Jim Henderson noted that Mosley’s relationships with community leaders, state legislators, and national officials will be invaluable as the association enters a period of transition for Kentucky’s county governments.
