Dan Murphy’s named Australia’s favourite liquor retailer

Dan Murphy’s has been named Australia’s favourite liquor retailer in the Canstar Blue 2026 Most Satisfied Customers Awards. The retailer achieved the highest overall customer satisfaction rating in an independent survey of 1,721 Australians regarding their recent shopping experiences.

Dan Murphy’s received high marks across several consumer criteria, including value for money, store range, checkout speed and flexibility, and website navigation. The retailer outperformed major competitors, with Liquorland securing second place, followed by BSW and ALDI.

Managing Director Benjamin Ward stated that the award validates the company’s focus on its ‘Lowest Liquor Price Guarantee’ amid ongoing pressure on household budgets. He noted that the win reflects the team’s dedication to providing range and seamless shopping across more than 280 stores and online platforms.
