Dan Snyder maintains low profile in London after Commanders sale

Former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has largely retreated from public life following the $6.05 billion sale of the franchise to a group led by Josh Harris in 2023. According to former associates and league sources, Snyder relocated to London with his wife, Tanya, prior to the sale and has since maintained a life of anonymity.

Reports indicate that Snyder has cut ties with many former associates from his tenure as an NFL owner. While one associate suggested he may have previously expressed interest in soccer team investment, there is currently no indication that he intends to return to professional sports ownership in the United States.

The NFL and the Commanders organization appear to have moved on from his leadership, which was previously marked by investigations into workplace culture and financial improprieties. Since the sale, the Commanders have undergone significant changes, including drafting quarterback Jayden Daniels and beginning plans for a new stadium expected to be ready by 2030.
