Dan Vladar ranked 8th in NHL Network Top-10 goaltenders

Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar has been ranked eighth in the NHL Network’s Top-10 goaltender rankings. This marks the first time a Flyers netminder has appeared on the list since the rankings began in 2016.

Vladar’s recognition follows a standout season where he recorded a 2.42 goals-against average (GAA) and a .906 save percentage. During the playoffs, his performance improved further, posting a 2.18 GAA and a .922 save percentage. NHL Network analyst Cory Schneider noted that Vladar successfully transitioned from a backup role in Boston and Calgary to a primary starter in Philadelphia, exceeding expectations and helping the team through a significant playoff run.

Following his performance, Vladar signed a five-year contract extension worth $5.5 million annually. His 29 wins during the season represent the highest win total for a Flyers goaltender since the 2013-14 season.
