Dana Cup volunteers honored at Astrup celebration

Volunteers for the Dana Cup were honored at a celebration hosted by Astrup Sønderskov IF and AS-Fri Event. The event brought together a diverse group of participants, including children, teenagers, adults, and retirees, to recognize the collective effort behind the tournament.

Two individuals were named ‘Dana Cuppers of the Year’. Twelve-year-old Lucas received the award for the under-18 category, noted for his significant personal development during the tournament week. In the adult category, Majken was selected for her reliability and commitment to the cause.

The collaboration between the sports club and the school support association has generated a surplus from the Dana Cup, which will be shared between the two organizations. The event also included expressions of gratitude toward various local businesses that contributed gifts for the upcoming 2026 awards.
