Dança dos Famosos 2026: Four participants eliminated in wildcard round

The wildcard round of the Dança dos Famosos 2026 competition, aired on TV Globo’s Domingão com Huck, resulted in the elimination of four participants: Rita Guedes, Junno Andrade, Ticiane Pinheiro, and Gracyanne Barbosa.

Six competitors, who had previously accumulated low scores, performed to the Brega rhythm to vie for two available spots in the main competition. Bruna Griphao and Lucas Guedez secured the only two positions to return to the contest.

The elimination of actress Rita Guedes follows a recent period of health challenges. Guedes reportedly underwent a recovery process for keratitis, a corneal inflammation caused by complications from a blepharoplasty surgery, which previously required hospitalization and the use of protective eyewear for several months.
