Dana Meeks returns to international motorcycle drag racing
Dana Meeks and his racing team have returned to international National Hot Rod Association competitions after a ten-year hiatus. The team recently competed in motorcycle drag races at Mission Raceway Park in British Columbia.
The competition involves Top Fuel Harley class motorcycles, which are highly technical machines capable of reaching speeds of 200 miles per hour. These bikes require specialized tuning of clutch, fuel, ignition, and data collection systems to manage extreme power.
The decade-long absence followed a catastrophic engine failure where a crankshaft snapped, leaving the team without the resources to repair the motor at the time. After years of rebuilding efforts, the team has successfully returned to the racing scene.
