Dana White denies Shakur Stevenson vs. Manny Pacquiao fight

Dana White, representing Zuffa Boxing, has officially denied rumors of a potential fight between undefeated WBO junior welterweight champion Shakur Stevenson and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. Speaking at the Zuffa Boxing 11 post-fight press conference in London, White stated, “That’s not true. I don’t know where that came from,” quashing speculation that the bout would serve as a co-main event for the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight in Cardiff.

Instead, reports indicate that Zuffa Boxing has contacted PBC to extend an offer to WBA super-lightweight champion Gary Antuanne Russell for a unification bout against Stevenson. While Stevenson has publicly expressed interest in the matchup, some analysts, including Tim Bradley, have questioned Russell’s potential decision to delay the fight despite a reported $2 million offer.

Meanwhile, White described the current state of the Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua event as a “shitshow,” noting that details regarding the fight's promotion and finalization remain uncertain.
