Dana White responds to Sean Strickland's UFC pay criticisms
UFC CEO Dana White has responded to recent criticisms made by middleweight champion Sean Strickland regarding fighter pay and contract negotiations. Strickland has used social media to express grievances, claiming he earns only a fraction of the earnings reported for Conor McGregor and suggesting he might fight out his contract to pursue boxing.
White dismissed the complaints, noting that Strickland signed a new contract as recently as May. White also contested the accuracy of the financial figures Strickland has shared publicly. While Strickland has expressed interest in competing in boxing, White indicated no interest in the fighter's proposal to participate in Zuffa Boxing.
