Dana White threatens to exit Fury vs. Joshua negotiations

Dana White, president of Zuffa Boxing, has threatened to walk away from negotiations for a heavyweight super-fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, citing Eddie Hearn as the primary obstacle. White stated that the Matchroom promoter has done more to damage the potential bout than anyone else involved, suggesting that if Hearn is unwilling to cooperate with the current direction, he should attempt to organize the fight himself.

The impasse reportedly involves disagreements over the venue and revenue potential. While Fury has encouraged White to finalize the deal, tensions have risen regarding the location. There are conflicting interests between staging the event at Wembley Stadium in the UK versus Madison Square Garden in New York. A US-based event would align with commercial interests for partners like Netflix and TKO, whereas a UK event may offer historic significance but could result in less revenue for the fighters and inconvenient viewing times for international audiences.
