UFC President Dana White has provided an update on fighter Raoni Barcelos following a medical emergency during his main event fight against Raul Rosas Jr. at UFC Vegas 121. During the fifth round, Barcelos collapsed and was transported to a trauma center via stretcher.

White confirmed that Barcelos is recovering well, stating, “Thank god he’s doing well. He’s up walking around and talking.” White emphasized that medical protocols were strictly followed, noting that pre-fight medicals were triple-checked and that six doctors and three ambulances were on site during the event.

Regarding Barcelos's professional future, White stated he is not currently considering whether the 39-year-old bantamweight will fight again, prioritizing the athlete's health instead.
