Danah Nemer wins GNT culinary reality show ‘Que Seja Doce’
Danah Nemer, a pastry chef from Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, won the culinary reality show ‘Que Seja Doce’ on the GNT channel. Accompanied by her husband and assistant, Luiz Henrique Fernandes, Nemer achieved national recognition by winning two major titles during the competition.
Nemer was recognized for producing the best ‘bolo de rolo’ of the competition, a feat she noted was particularly significant as she competed against a pastry chef from Pernambuco, the traditional home of the dessert. She ultimately secured the final victory with a cake inspired by the flavors of Minas Gerais, specifically a ‘bolo pamonha’.
The competition required participants to demonstrate technical precision, creativity, and regional identity. Nemer’s success has brought national visibility to the gastronomy and culinary talents of Poços de Caldas.
