Danantara Indonesia denies sponsoring TIME100 Next 2026

Danantara Indonesia has clarified that it did not provide any financial sponsorship or payments for the TIME100 Next Gala 2026 held in New York. The institution stated that the inclusion of its logo in the event was an “in-kind” gesture of appreciation from TIME magazine as part of ongoing discussions regarding non-financial strategic cooperation.

Pahala Mansury, Managing Director of Global Relations and Communications at Danantara, explained that these discussions involve potential participation in several upcoming international forums, such as the TIME Davos Forum in Switzerland. The goal of this potential cooperation is to promote Indonesia’s strategic sectors to global investors, including tourism, the creative economy, culture, film, and sustainable investment.

While the partnership is still in the exploratory stage, Danantara aims to use these international networks to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global investment ecosystem while maintaining high standards of good corporate governance and accountability.
