Danantara drives BUMN transformation and infrastructure integration
Dony Oskaria, Chief Operating Officer of Danantara and Head of the BUMN Regulatory Agency, has outlined a strategic transformation for Indonesia's state-owned enterprises (BUMN) to strengthen the national economic foundation. This transformation involves a comprehensive portfolio restructuring of over one thousand companies, evaluating them based on industry characteristics, business models, and financial capacity to determine whether they should be strengthened, consolidated, divested, or liquidated.
As part of this initiative, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) is working to integrate port infrastructure with industrial zones, transportation networks, and digital ecosystems to improve logistics efficiency and economic growth.
Additionally, Danantara is intervening in the LRT City integrated housing project, which is scheduled to resume construction on October 1, 2026. Addressing concerns regarding project uncertainty, Oskaria noted that while consumers have the option to request refunds, he advised against it due to the potential for future price increases. He emphasized that Danantara remains committed to completing the project due to its strategic location and accessibility.
