Danantara drives profit jump at Pelindo and financial cleanup at Pos Indonesia

PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) reported a first‑half 2026 profit of Rp2.57 trillion, rising 60.44 % year‑on‑year, while container throughput reached 9.96 million TEUs, up 7 %. The gains were attributed to Danantara‑led transformation measures, including portfolio focus, corporate streamlining, digitalisation of processes and expansion of a hub‑and‑spoke port network.

PT Pos Indonesia disclosed an accounting correction of Rp9 trillion covering 2023‑2025, part of a broader financial overhaul overseen by BP BUMN and Danantara. In a meeting with Danantara COO Dony Oskaria, President Director Iskandar Kunaefi outlined steps to improve governance, reduce costs, restructure revenue and expense streams and use inter‑company mechanisms to lower debt. Both companies aim to strengthen fundamentals and sustain growth for Indonesia’s logistics sector.
