Danantara Indonesia targets $30 billion investment at New Asia Forum 2026

The New Asia Forum (NAF) 2026, scheduled for December 3–4 in Bali, aims to mobilize US$30 billion in investment across the New Asia region. Held under the patronage of President Prabowo Subianto with Danantara Indonesia as a founding partner, the forum is designed to transition Asia from a global growth engine into a primary hub for investment, innovation, and long-term value creation.

Pandu Sjahrir, Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia, stated that the forum is intended to drive transactions and investment implementation, with Danantara acting as a co-investor alongside global partners. The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between the Asia-Pacific region's contribution to 60% of global economic growth and the currently sub-optimal allocation of long-term international capital to the area.

The event expects to convene over 1,000 global leaders and feature more than 100 speakers across 40 sessions. Participants will include sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and multinational corporations. Notable expected speakers include President Prabowo Subianto and SoftBank Group Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son.
