Danantara Indonesia targets housing deficit via 3 million houses program

Danantara Indonesia is addressing Indonesia's significant housing deficit by supporting the government's priority program to provide 3 million houses. During the Danantara Housing Expo 2026, CEO Rosan Roeslani highlighted data from BPS indicating that approximately 9.29 million households live in substandard housing, while another 18 million households reside in homes that do not meet adequacy standards.

To meet this demand, Danantara is working alongside the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas to provide affordable housing and competitive financing schemes. The expo features over 120,000 property options from more than 130 state-owned and private developers, with prices ranging from Rp120 million to Rp3 billion to cover various market segments.

State-owned developers at the event are offering approximately 18,559 units across 23 provinces, with an inventory value of Rp9.79 trillion. These units are categorized into first home, family home, and premium living zones, specifically targeting low-income groups and middle-to-lower segments.
