Danantara officials inspect H. Agus Salim Stadium construction in Padang

Donny Oskaria, Chief Operating Officer of Danantara and Head of State-Owned Enterprises Regulation, inspected the construction of the H. Agus Salim Stadium in Padang, West Sumatra, on October 27, 2026. Accompanied by Andre Rosiade, Vice Chairman of Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the delegation reviewed the site to ensure field, land, and workspace readiness as the project enters its initial construction phase.

The project is being executed through a joint operation involving PT Hutama Karya and PT Adhi Karya. Construction has officially begun with foundation work. Oskaria emphasized that the stadium must meet high quality standards to become a premier facility in Indonesia and a new icon for the Minangkabau community, noting that not all regions receive the opportunity to build a stadium meeting FIFA standards.

Oskaria expressed his intention to conduct regular inspections to monitor execution details and ensure the project adheres to its planned schedule while prioritizing quality and occupational safety.
