Dance festivals and Bolshoi Brasil events announced in Brazil

Several dance events and educational opportunities are scheduled in the Brazilian states of Pará and Carajás.

In Marabá, the 14th Eva Chaves Dance Festival is accepting registrations until August 30. The event, scheduled for September 24–27 at the Carajás Centro de Convenções, features categories including Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Urban Dance, and Freestyle. Participants can compete in solo, duo, or group formats across age groups from children to adults, with over R$ 20,000 in total prizes available.

In Belém, the Escola do Teatro Bolshoi no Brasil will hold a program from September 1–4. The initiative includes professional performances of the Gala Bolshoi and Balé Kaori at the Theatro da Paz, alongside free workshops at CAIXA Cultural Belém. Additionally, the program includes auditions to select new students for the 2027 class.
