Dance festivals and cultural events scheduled in Monza and Imola

Various dance events and cultural celebrations are scheduled across the Italian cities of Monza and Imola.

In Monza, the Gruppo danze popolari di Monza is launching its new season with a public concert and dance event on September 29, 2026, at the San Rocco Civic Center. The event features accordionist Roberto Carlotti and animator Romana Finessi. Following this inauguration, the group will offer courses, seminars, and themed evenings focused on Italian and international traditional dances from October through June.

In Imola, the ‘Imola città in danza’ gala is set for August 30 as part of the ‘Imola in Musica’ festival. Organized by Indipendance Studio and supported by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola, the event will transform Piazza Matteotti into an open-air dance floor. The program includes workshops led by professional instructors and performances by various artists, aiming to promote dance as a universal language.
