Dance Joaçaba 2026 festival to host 2,400 dancers

The 33rd edition of the Dance Joaçaba festival is scheduled to take place this weekend at the Centro de Eventos Dario Bortoluzzi. Recognized as the second largest dance festival in Santa Catarina, the event is expected to host approximately 2,400 dancers performing over 170 selected choreographies.

Participants are traveling from various cities and states, as well as from Paraguay. The festival offers free admission to the public, with a capacity of roughly 1,000 seats. The event structure includes individual dressing rooms for dancers and a food court managed by charitable entities to support the local community.
