Dancing with the Stars season 35 premieres

The 35th season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ (DWTS) premiered with a double-night event on September 15 and 16. The new season features a diverse cast of celebrities, including Olympic figure skater Amber Glenn, actor Julia Stiles, Paralympic runner Ezra Frech, and Savannah Banana baseball player Jackson Olson.

New additions to the professional dance roster include Adele and Hailey Bills, alongside new troupe member Kamri Peterson. The premiere night featured an opening number choreographed by Jamal Sims and Kai Martinez, centered around the theme of the stars’ birth year hits. Actor Harry Shum Jr. earned the highest score of the first night.
